What is the opportunity?

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Wealth Management Advisor to join a dynamic advisory team specializing in providing comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth clients. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for deepening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing business plans to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely follow-up as required
  • Develop and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities among existing client bases for asset consolidation, referrals, and other business development initiatives
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to manage the client acquisition pipeline, including prospects and leads
  • Execute trades and rebalance portfolios to meet client objectives
  • Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, providing regular updates to the advisory team
  • Support clients and the advisory team through the wealth management process, including gathering relevant information, coordinating activities with wealth management specialists, tracking progress, and following up

Requirements

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course
  • University degree
  • A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve clients and interact with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed client service skills
