In this role, you will play a crucial part in our project operations, collaborating closely with the project manager to ensure seamless and efficient workflows. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive mindset will be essential in coordinating all project tasks and requirements, ensuring every component aligns for optimal success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute significantly to the strategic planning phase of upcoming projects, influencing their trajectory from the outset.
  • Daily Operations Support: Assist the project manager in the daily management of projects and personnel, ensuring exceptional quality, client satisfaction, and timely delivery.
  • Project Status Monitoring: Provide real-time updates to the project manager, becoming the heartbeat of the project.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively and suggest innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
  • Document Management: Maintain impeccable organization of all current project documents, ensuring they are filed and accessible.
  • Database Management: Accurately enter and manage critical information in our digital project databases.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Collaboration with Experts: Work alongside fabricators, engineers, and architects to fulfill and exceed project specifications.
  • RFI and Change Order Management: Efficiently handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders.
  • Drawing Preparation: Compile and deliver comprehensive drawing packages to clients according to established timelines.
  • Schedule Adherence: Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet client objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Steel Detailer, with consideration for candidates with substantial experience in related fields. Familiarity with Tekla Structures or similar detailing software is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction and fabrication, with a strong ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, driven by a strong sense of initiative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
