Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff in various areas of responsibility, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and customer service.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media, promotions, and events.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
