Job Title: Store Associate

Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team in Cowansville. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Accurately process customer transactions, maintain accurate inventory levels, and replenish merchandise as needed
  • Follow up on hot selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes, and maintain planograms, labels, and tickets
  • Perform cycle counts, maintain a safe and secure store environment, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and colleagues
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, bend, twist, and squat, and lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs.)
