RA Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Management: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and oversee the condition of vehicles to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Driving Operations: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced logistics environment, with varying locations and schedules.
