Job Summary

RA Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations for transportation routes
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, maintaining a high level of vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
