Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage daily operations of the meat department to meet brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery objectives.
- Provide leadership to the team through recruitment, training, and performance appraisal, and ensure all team members adhere to Co-op standards.
- Ensure all team members are physically capable of performing the necessary requirements of the role.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, controlling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
We are looking for a candidate with a Grade 12 Diploma and 3+ years of leadership experience in retail store operations. Previous retail management or meat cutting experience is considered an asset. You must be able to handle multiple demands, be adaptable, organized, and efficient, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
