About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Stones Edge Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our landscape construction and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of landscape construction and maintenance professionals, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Organize Planting and Maintenance: Plan and coordinate the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as oversee the maintenance of our clients' properties.
  • Schedule Work and Plan Maintenance: Develop and implement schedules for landscape construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for our team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Develop Maintenance Standards and Programs: Create and implement maintenance standards and programs that ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform Snow Maintenance Operations: Lead and manage our snow removal team, ensuring that all snowmaking and snow removal equipment is properly maintained and operated.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction and maintenance.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, in all weather conditions.
  • Work Setting: Landscape contractor, various locations.
  • Area of Work Experience: Snow removal, landscaping.
  • Area of Specialization: Grounds maintenance, landscape construction.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
