The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, ensuring that all parts, supplies, and documentation are accurately tracked and safeguarded within our operational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all incoming and outgoing parts.
- Manage the timely shipping and receiving of goods.
- Safeguard that all items are stored in designated locations.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all documentation related to the warehouse.
- Keep precise records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory levels.
- Facilitate proper storage of stock in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assist in optimizing storage space and requirements.
- Communicate any shipping or receiving delays to management promptly.
- Coordinate the picking and distribution of parts to engineers and relevant teams.
- Prepare shipments, ensuring compliance with packaging standards and regulations.
- Collect and deliver parts as necessary for operational needs.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the inventory management system.
- Utilize the most efficient methods for distributing parts.
- Be prepared to work outside regular hours as needed.
- Support operational requirements as requested.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in all interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Prioritize safety in all workplace activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some post-secondary education preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory role.
- Valid driver's license and certifications in WHMIS, Dangerous Goods handling, First Aid, and CPR.
- Completion of a Spills Containment Course.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
