The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to position our products effectively in the market, creating compelling product positioning and messaging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis and Strategy
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand the architectural lighting industry, market trends, and customer needs.
Product Positioning and MessagingCreate clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that highlight the unique value propositions of our products.
Competitive AnalysisConduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the architectural lighting market.
Go-to-Market Planning and ExecutionLead cross-functional teams in developing comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for product launches and updates.
Marketing Collateral and Content CreationCreate and manage marketing collateral, sales materials, product documentation, and other marketing assets that showcase our products effectively.
Sales EnablementCollaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales tools, training, and resources to enhance their product knowledge and selling capabilities.
Customer Insights and FeedbackGather and analyze customer feedback to understand customer preferences and perceptions of our products.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in the architectural lighting industry (lighting design, specification, lighting product management, product design, marketing, and engineering sales)
- Lighting savvy (good technical lighting knowledge, LC, CLD certifications are an asset)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics platforms, MS Office, and ERP systems
- Understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into effective marketing strategies for lighting solutions
