Key Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing the financing and liquidity management for the Canadian division, which includes fulfilling all administrative obligations related to banking and trading accounts, managing Bankers Acceptances, Libor loans, monitoring interest/fees, and reconciling expenses.
  2. Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in assessing and executing foreign exchange strategies, generating regular reports to evaluate exposure risks, and ensuring adherence to the risk management policy.
  3. Monitoring credit limits, reporting on the credit insurance strategy, and ensuring compliance with established risk protocols.
  4. Generating weekly, monthly, and annual treasury reports for management, preparing the borrowing base, and fulfilling other obligations under credit facilities.
  5. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management and risk assessment.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline is essential; advanced degrees or additional qualifications are advantageous.
  3. Proficiency in foreign exchange and commodity risk management is required, ideally with experience in agricultural products such as grains and pulses.
  4. Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English are mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  5. Willingness to relocate is necessary.
