Fixed Income Cash Development Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Java Developer to join our Fixed Income Cash Development Team.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in enterprise development, with a strong background in Java and a passion for driving software development activities to meet schedules and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with multiple business lines to develop system architectures, designs, and concepts.
  • Provide work estimates as needed and communicate effectively with the development team.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and their applications.
  • Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines.
  • Maintain and improve code quality using static and dynamic code analyses, security vulnerability scans, code coverage, and CI/CD pipeline gating.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
  • Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Requirements
  • Experienced Java Developer (JDK 11 and 17)
  • Apache Camel (Version 3 or 4)
  • REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
  • Enterprise services (including observability, configuration management, and cloud deployment)
  • Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
  • Message Driven Application development (Kafka, Active MQ or similar)
  • MS SQL Server and/or Sybase experience
  • Experience with Capital Markets and understanding how Derivatives instruments are valued
  • Plus: fixed income experience
Education

Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

The expected base salary ranges from $160k-$225k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
