Logistics Coordinator

Join D4 Logistics Inc as an Automotive Logistics Specialist and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in the automotive logistics industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing daily dispatch operations, leveraging your existing client relationships to drive business growth, and ensuring timely delivery and adherence to just-in-time (JIT) schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispatch & Fleet Management: Oversee the assignment of loads to drivers, optimizing route planning and vehicle utilization for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Client Relationships & Business Development: Leverage your existing book of business to enhance D4 Logistics' automotive sector operations, bringing new opportunities and maintaining current relationships.
- Automotive Industry Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of the automotive supply chain to ensure precise scheduling and delivery of parts, components, and finished goods in line with industry standards.
- Operational Coordination & Problem Solving: Anticipate and resolve operational issues such as traffic delays, equipment breakdowns, and route inefficiencies to prevent delivery disruptions.
- Data Management & Reporting: Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software to track all freight movements, maintain dispatch logs, and analyze performance metrics.
- 5+ years of dispatch experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a specific focus on automotive logistics.
- An established book of business in the automotive sector, with a proven track record of managing high-value accounts and growing business relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of just-in-time (JIT) delivery systems, automotive supply chains, and cross-border logistics.
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
