About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at Global Media Communications. As a key member of our digital media team, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging websites that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their website requirements and develop a project plan to meet their needs.
    • Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
  • Design and Development
    • Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' objectives.
    • Develop websites using a variety of programming languages, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Ensure websites are optimized for search engines and mobile devices.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites are free from errors and meet our quality standards.
    • Collaborate with our quality assurance team to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress.
    • Collaborate with our design and development teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in web development.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
