About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Multiverse Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thermal Protection: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and select the appropriate insulation materials.
  • Insulation Installation: Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools, and apply and secure insulation using various methods.
  • Project Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for insulation projects.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed.
Work Environment

As an Insulation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, dust, and confined spaces. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work overtime as needed.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in insulation installation or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
