Job Title: Electrician, Construction and Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Electrician, Construction and Maintenance to join our team at SAVVY FIRE PROTECTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The Electrician, Construction and Maintenance will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This includes installing electrical controls and panel boxes, replacing and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes, splicing, joining, and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits, and troubleshooting and isolating faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in cold/refrigerated environments
Work Environment:

The Electrician, Construction and Maintenance will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.
