Event Planner Job Description

The Royal Palace Ab Inc. is seeking a skilled Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for promoting conference and meeting services or special events, inspecting and selecting sites, and developing media strategies and public relations activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote conference and meeting services or special events
  • Inspect and select sites for events
  • Develop media strategies and public relations activities
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Prepare, present, and manage budgets for events
  • Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services
  • Plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits
  • Plan for social events and guest programs
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Word
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail
  • Personal suitability: Initiative, Team player
Work Environment

The Event Planner will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
