Job Title: Support Services Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Services Worker to join our team at Thrive Group Canada. As a Support Services Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a congregate home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a full laundry service for clients and facility, including washing, drying, and folding linens, bedding, and client clothing.
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean, tidy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for clients, staff, family, members, and visitors.
  • Assist with food preparation and service, following safe food handling practices and production sheets to meet menu requirements.
  • Collaborate with Food Service Staff to ensure daily duties are performed in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain the Food Handlers Certificate as offered by Public Health Services within 60 days of employment and renewed every 5 years.
  • Must demonstrate a high commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be reliable, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively.
  • Must be a strong team player who demonstrates the ability to develop supportive relationships and work collaboratively with clients, family members, and colleagues.
