Job Title: Support Services Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Services Worker to join our team at Thrive Group Canada. As a Support Services Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide laundry and housekeeping services to clients, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation and service, adhering to safe food handling practices.
  • Collect, launder, and return clients' personal laundry, as well as perform housekeeping tasks in clients' rooms and common areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the Cook to maintain food inventory, prepare meals, and set and serve meals to clients.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain the Food Handlers Certificate as offered by Public Health Services within 60 days of employment and renewed every 5 years.
  • Must demonstrate a high commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be reliable, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively.
  • Must be a strong team player who demonstrates the ability to develop supportive relationships and work collaboratively with clients, family members, and colleagues.
