About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Ideal Drywall Ltd. as a Drywall Taper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, Level and Smooth Coats of Plaster: Ensure a high-quality finish by applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to walls and ceilings.
  • Clean and Prepare Surfaces: Clean and prepare surfaces to receive plaster, ensuring a smooth and even application.
  • Cure Freshly Plastered Surfaces: Allow freshly plastered surfaces to cure, ensuring a strong and durable finish.
  • Mix Plaster Ingredients: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Mould and Install Ornamental Plaster Panels: Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add a decorative touch to our projects.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
