Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Suites. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Hotel Staff: You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of our hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
- Assist Guests with Special Needs: You will be responsible for assisting guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility and ensuring that our hotel meets the needs of guests with disabilities.
- Coordinate and Review Work: You will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of our hotel staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and Train Staff: You will be responsible for hiring and training new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Maintain Hotel Operations: You will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our hotel, including managing our hotel's computer systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Requisition Materials and Supplies: You will be responsible for requisitioning materials and supplies, ensuring that our hotel has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
- Tasks: Perform same duties as workers supervised, assist clients/guests with special needs, coordinate, assign and review work, hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery, requisition materials and supplies
- Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, large workload, overtime required, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, work under pressure
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language
