About Us:

Dental Corp is a prominent and dynamic Oral and Maxillofacial surgical facility dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to enhance our surgical team.

Schedule:

  • 28 to 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Hours may vary based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of surgical instruments and medications
  • Assessment of patient history and conducting thorough evaluations
  • Administration of IV medications
  • Monitoring patients during sedation
  • Post-operative care and discharge processes
  • Conducting follow-up patient care calls
  • Assisting in surgical procedures
  • Managing inventory of medications and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS are mandatory
  • Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing
  • Experience in oral surgery is essential
  • Background in surgery, emergency care, ICU, PACU, or critical care is advantageous
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the nursing scope of practice
