About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Astoria Shish Kebob House Vaughan Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring our food meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
