About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Crest Hotel LP. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal kitchen efficiency.
  • Chef Training and Development: Instruct and train cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Kitchen Supervision: Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality food production.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus that meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
