Director, Research & Development

Calian Agriculture is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Research and Development efforts. As Director, Research & Development, you will be responsible for driving innovation and advancing our solutions in the Ag-Tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall research and development strategy to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Lead a team of experts in software development, product management, and quality assurance to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into practical solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends and technologies to drive advancements and improvements in our products and services.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with industry experts and other key stakeholders to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in leading research and development projects, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills, technical and business knowledge, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, consider big picture impacts, and understand how to implement solutions and drive advancements across teams.
  • Proven ability to think outside the box with demonstrated creativity and innovation.
  • Experience in the Ag-Tech sector, with a strong understanding of industry trends and technologies.
