About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Household Assistant to join our team at Fosella Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Household Management: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of our home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas.
  • Errands and Tasks: Assist with errands and tasks as needed, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our household staff and management team to ensure a smooth and efficient household operation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Relocation: Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
