About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing wood frames for our high-quality sofas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create wood frames for our sofas.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and provide guidance on construction techniques and safety protocols.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects and plan accordingly.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Conditions

As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. You will be required to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in wood frame construction or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
