Job Summary:

As a key member of our leadership team at Thrive Group Canada, the Resident Care Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that resident care exceeds standards and expectations. This position supports our Infection Prevention and Control program, as well as all aspects of resident admissions, including liaison with residents and family members pending admission, and throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the RAI MDS processes in accordance with MOHLTC regulations, monitoring and supporting all staff to ensure accuracy of data and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Provide leadership to the staff teams, ensuring the implementation of best practice approaches to resident care.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and adult education programs.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Registered Practical Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Long-Term Care or Acute Care sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to educate and support employees.
  • Flexibility to work or support all three shifts, as well as participating in the home's on-call leader rotation.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
