Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team at Grace Villa Long Term Care. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Aide will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Transport residents in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
Work Environment:
