We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team at Grace Villa Long Term Care. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide personal care
  • Provide companionship
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
Work Environment:

Our nursing home setting is fast-paced and physically demanding. As a Personal Support Aide, you will work under pressure and be required to stand for extended periods. You will also be expected to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
