Procurement Analyst

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of a new system, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and ensure smooth integration and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new procurement systems and processes.
  • Analyze current procurement practices and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to procurement team members on new systems and processes.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
Post-Implementation Phase:
  • Transition into a key role within the Purchasing and Warehousing Team, leveraging insights gained during implementation.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with the warehousing team to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to drive cost savings and operational excellence.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on procurement performance and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong data and warehouse management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software implementation.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and warehousing best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work remotely at home as outlined by current Hybrid WFH protocols and policies.
