Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Nguyen's Vietnamese Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and make adjustments as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting our high standards of service and quality.
  • Menu Planning: Work with our culinary team to plan and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands and manage staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
