Automotive Parts Supervisor

Bannister Automotive Group is expanding and is in search of a knowledgeable Automotive Parts Supervisor to enhance our team.
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience)
Primary Duties:
- Anticipating parts requirements and procuring components to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Keeping track of the existing parts inventory.
- Setting prices for parts to ensure profitability.
- Receiving parts, which includes organizing them into inventory and accurately labeling.
- Assisting customers in locating and purchasing the appropriate parts.
- Managing special orders.
- Coordinating with service managers to guarantee all necessary parts are available for repair tasks.
- Recruiting, overseeing, and training personnel in the parts department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in parts or service within a dealership environment (minimum of 2 years).
- Strong sales and customer service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Numerical skills for effective inventory management, pricing, and estimates.
- Analytical skills to resolve parts inventory challenges.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic and occasionally noisy setting.
- Leadership qualities to ensure the smooth operation of the parts department.
- Willingness to acquire product knowledge.
