The Bannister Automotive Group is expanding and seeking a knowledgeable Automotive Parts Supervisor to enhance our operations.
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience)
Primary Duties:
- Anticipating parts requirements and procuring components to sustain optimal stock levels.
- Overseeing the existing parts inventory.
- Establishing pricing strategies to ensure profitability.
- Receiving parts, including cataloging them into inventory and ensuring proper labeling.
- Assisting customers in locating and purchasing the appropriate parts.
- Managing special orders.
- Coordinating with service managers to guarantee all necessary parts are available for repair tasks.
- Recruiting, supervising, and training staff within the parts department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in parts or service within a dealership environment (minimum of 2 years).
- Strong sales and customer service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Numerical proficiency to manage inventory, pricing, and estimates.
- Analytical skills to resolve parts inventory challenges.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and occasionally noisy environment.
- Leadership qualities to ensure the smooth operation of the parts department.
- Willingness to acquire product knowledge.
