Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate at Regina Public Library. As the face of our library, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive and customer-centric library services, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Assist customers in navigating technology and information resources, promoting digital literacy and inclusion.
  • Host engaging library programs and community events, fostering a sense of community and social connection.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver enriching experiences for all customers, leveraging your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage administrative tasks and maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive reputation for Regina Public Library.

Requirements

  • Completion of grade 12
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a library or community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a team environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect
  • Experience in hosting programs and activities, with a passion for community engagement and outreach
