**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a General Clerk at our Saanich, BC location. As a General Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
  • Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
