We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Morison Insurance Brokers Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and service commercial accounts to ensure excellent customer service and retention.
- Review renewals with clients, providing coverage recommendations to meet their needs.
- Assist clients with their day-to-day inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Identify opportunities to write new business through referrals and marketing existing accounts to insurance companies.
- Develop insurance market knowledge to understand where a risk will fit and provide accurate coverage recommendations.
- Understand wordings and coverages to compare insurance policies and quotes effectively.
- A Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO) is required.
- Knowledge in Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm Insurance is essential.
- Completed, enrolled, or interested in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be an asset.
- College Insurance Program Diploma or an undergraduate degree is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills to build relationships and maintain long-term growth and retention.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
