As a Communications Specialist at Autisme Montréal, you will play a vital role in enhancing our visibility and outreach. This is a permanent position that requires fluency in French and involves a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Qualifications- Education: A diploma or certificate from a college or CEGEP program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Design and execute various events aimed at publicity, fundraising, and information dissemination.
- Formulate effective communication strategies tailored to our organizational goals.
- Draft and implement policies that enhance our communication efforts.
- Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and programs.
- Oversee the creation of public written materials.
- Compile bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, and guides.
- Generate written content including reports, briefs, and website text.
- Produce educational and promotional programs to engage the community.
- Promote activities, workshops, and events for fundraising and informational purposes.
- Craft speeches, presentations, and press releases.
- Handle administrative duties as required.
- Plan and manage development projects.
- Respond to inquiries from the business community regarding development opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, research papers, and educational articles.
- Act as the spokesperson for Autisme Montréal.
- Address both written and verbal inquiries.
- Assist in the production of brochures, newsletters, and other materials.
- Research and gather communications materials.
- Establish and maintain media contacts.
- Prepare funding proposals.
