About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Safai Maintenance. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup and ensure a healthy environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure our clients' comfort and satisfaction.
  • Stock linen closets to maintain a sufficient supply of cleaning materials.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to our clients and answer any questions they may have.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a sparkling clean appearance.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Will train and provide on-the-job training to ensure success in the role.
