Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of activities with other work units or departments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Supervise a team of 16-20 people, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure the team is working efficiently.
  • Resource Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail. The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads is essential.
