Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of activities with other work units or departments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Supervise a team of 16-20 people, conducting performance reviews, arranging training, and coordinating work assignments.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
  • Transportation Coordination: Arrange for maintenance and repair work, resolve work problems, and provide technical advice to staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. They will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
