About the Role

As a key member of our ScotiaMcLeod team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in providing top-notch support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide proactive and reactive technical assistance to branch staff, addressing issues and implementing improvements.
  • Liaison with Support Teams: Act as a liaison between the Helpdesk and the Branch Training and Support Team to ensure efficient resolution of all technical issues.
  • Technology Management: Ensure that all technology is running at maximum efficiency, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Training and Development: Provide basic-level training on all applications to branch employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate complex technical issues to internal and external providers, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in providing IT support to end-users, with a strong understanding of Microsoft systems and various operating systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical information to non-technical staff.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
