Job Title: Security Guard

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Write detailed reports of incidents and security activities.
  • Investigate routine incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • De-escalate situations involving conflict, violence, or other security threats.
  • Ensure that all areas of the premises are secure and free from unauthorized access.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Candidates with experience working in healthcare and mental health will be given priority.
  • Successful completion of the Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) and Use of Force (UoF) certification programs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions.
