About the Job

Aarc-West Mechanical Insulation (2013) Inc. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of insulation materials in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select and apply the correct type of insulation material for the job
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Apply waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials
