Job Summary

Arc-West Mechanical Insulation (2013) Inc. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation systems in various settings, including construction, commercial, and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation required for the job
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials as needed
  • Brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials to ensure a watertight seal
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
