Job Title: Insulation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Aarc-West Mechanical Insulation (2013) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation required for the job
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
