Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Facilitator to join our team at Homestead Land Holdings Limited. As a Training Facilitator, you will play a key role in the development of our site staff, providing training and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new site staff, including WHMIS and safe lifting techniques training.
- Provide new staff with their orientation package, checklists, and Health and Safety Training.
- Work with new staff on a pre-scheduled basis to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Train staff in minor plumbing and electrical work, general maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
- Participate in the branch Joint Health and Safety Committee and perform annual building inspections.
- Conduct in-house seminars and workshops with existing staff to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience working as on-site apartment building staff is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Must be creative and able to work under pressure.
- Must be passionate and enthusiastic about the development of others.
- Knowledge of day-to-day functions of an apartment building, including boilers, elevators, compactor rooms, and swimming pools, is preferred.
- A minimum of two years training experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in training methods and principles are essential.
