Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2755702 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Culinary Innovation: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Training: Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, promoting high-quality dishes and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure successful events.
  • Menu Planning: Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for multiple restaurants, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
  • Special Diets: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, prioritizing their safety and satisfaction.
  • Staff Development: Supervise and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
