About the Role

The Bilingual Business Development Associate will contribute to the success of EightSix Network's business development and client servicing activities by communicating with clients, consultants, and prospects while providing administrative support to the Regional Directors on the Managed Assets team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage investment advisors in detailed conversations regarding investment strategies, peers, and capital markets.
  • Respond to requests and inquiries promptly, researching and resolving issues accurately.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to develop and nurture relationships with investment advisors.
  • Support Regional Sales Directors in an analytical capacity, preparing product comparisons and competitor research.
  • Alert Regional Sales Directors to significant sales and redemptions on a weekly basis.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute sales ideas for business growth.
  • Generate asset and sales reports regularly for internal reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate production of monthly mutual fund/SMA wrap profiles and updates.
  • Execute monthly email campaigns through the email marketing platform.
  • Regularly maintain CRM database and website's Advisor Portal.
  • Stay up to date on investment strategies and current events in the capital markets.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide input to Marketing about investment product collateral.
  • Participate in industry and intermediary events to enhance presence in the marketplace.
  • Adhere to all compliance, regulatory, and legal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be fully bilingual (English and French).
  • Undergraduate degree in business or finance with general knowledge of the financial industry.
  • 1-3 years of financial services experience considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in CRM Satuit database, eVestment, IC Research, and Dakota Marketplace considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to multitask, and prioritize.
