Site Superintendent Role Overview

The Site Superintendent plays a crucial role in managing and directing all construction operations on-site to guarantee that projects are delivered within the established timelines and budgetary constraints. This position entails overseeing field staff, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and upholding safety standards in construction practices.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee every phase of construction from inception to completion, including evaluating blueprints, site layouts, and coordinating inspections.
  • Direct daily construction activities, ensuring that all modifications are executed as specified.
  • Manage workforce and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to building regulations and safety protocols.
  • Supervise safety practices and enforce health and safety regulations at the construction site.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in the residential construction sector.
  • Strong communication abilities and proficiency in construction management software.
  • Familiarity with building regulations and possession of safety training certifications.
  • Experience in material procurement, scheduling, and quality assurance.
